Internship @ Horseranchbonaire
The ranch is a recognized training company through the SSB in the Netherlands.
As a student you can join us all year round, for an internship.
It is a unique opportunity to gain work experience abroad, in a completely different culture. An international internship is a valuable addition to your resume and offers you an amazing experience.
There is a minimum period of 4 weeks with the maximum of 3 months.
Because living in our accommodation and the guidance of trainees brings with it extra care and costs we charge a fee of $9.95 dollars a day, for the accommodation.
Included in this price is:
preparation of your workplace, transfer airport stay in our cosy accommodation on the basis of a shared room with shower Wi-Fi Gas for cooking, Electra, fridge Water, (what you can drink) participation of the trail Ride & Swim
What is not included is your airline ticket, travel insurance, food and drinks.
Of course you need a good travel insurance during your stay here.
If you are in possession of a driver’s license, you can rent a scooter here on Bonaire.
Usually, as a dutch student, you can apply for a non-resident scholarship during the time that you stay abroad, you can temporarily stop your public transport pass, and if you are away from home you can sublet your room. So that the rental costs are covered by your study financing.
Of course you must have a good travel insurance during your stay here on Bonaire that provides good coverage during all your activities here on Bonaire, you have to arrange this yourself, for example an IPS insurance.
What can you expect from us during your stay:
You will complete the run at the ranch and perform all the activities that are part of this.
The most important tasks are assisting with;
feeding, take care of all other animals that are present at the ranch, take care of the horses stables and pasture, the riding lessons, outdoor rides, help with maintenance of terrain and ranch, For a complete overview of the activities and training, please refer to the Work processes overview page
